Be advised.
Of course it is now just pulled all over (and so you can not buy it anymore).
But anything already in home stashes - to be tossed.

For decades now myself and my spouse (GI patients) were told to just use ranitidine as needed (since it is super, super safe).
Essentially, eat it as if a "food supplement" - it was considered so safe.
Which we did not do (not that naive anymore).

What do you know - the same old - it may cause cancer and now is recalled all over.

Don't buy food or drugs made in communist China.
The problem is that the selling companies, the one's whose name is on the box, go to great lengths to obscure where their drugs are made. I tried to discover the source of a vitamin pill my wife was taking. No luck on the box or on the company website. Lengthy googling did not find an answer. Suspicious, to say the least.
