Got this swarm a couple days ago. I went to pick them up last night and all the bees were under the SBB. So today at noon I get them back in the box. There is a cluster at the top that has just been hanging there and there is probably 7 frames full of bees on the inside. I cracked the lid so they would move in and they haven't. And there are probably 10+ bees doing a heavy waggle dance on the front. They are all doing the waggle dance in the same direction. I wonder if they are about to leave?

Well I answered that question. Just checked them before I left the office. And they were gone! But it looks like the took over one of my splits that is 20' away. This split didn't accept their queen and balled her on April 19th. So the new Queen should have been out this week, though I have not checked them since I saw them baller her and seen new cells a few days later. Weird.

Sometimes a swarm has more than one queen. I'd say this one of yours did indeed.
