If beeswax and propolis are together in a wad and I put it in a solar oven in a pan of water, will the wax separate from the propolis?

It will separate in the sense of forming 2 distinct layers, but these will still be attached. You then need to scrape away the propolis - which will form the bottom layer - leaving the wax propolis-free.
