My hives were prepping to swarm so I pulled the queen out w one frame of bees. The hives requeened but 3 of 5 are swarm prepping with queen cells again.

This spring I reversed deeps, removed queens added supers. A couple of the hives are definitely congested but not sure why the others keep trying to swarm.

I was reading about this method to stop the swarm impulse. What do u all think
1. Cage queen
2. Shake ALL bees out in front of hive
3. Cull all queen cells.
Reassemble and release queen.

Does this work? Thanks
