On the colony I removed from the tree. One of the things I noticed was they were bringing in loads of pollen while I was doing the removal. Now after 4 days in their new home I have yet to see any pollen come in. They are doing a lot of flying. But I can't see that they are bringing anything back. Why wouldn't they be bringing pollen in? Is this normal after a cut out?

Their not going to bring in pollen if they aren't tending brood. Are you sure you got the queen? Maybe they are just adjusting to the new hive.

If you know you have the queen you can feed them 1:1 sugar syrup. The field bees will concentrate on pollen and stimulate brood rearing.
