My one hive is queenless and dwindling. I need a queen quick. I am an hour east of Lubbock TX. Recommendations appreciated.

The old axiom "You can get good, cheap and quick. Pick 2" holds with Queens. So to get a good queen quick normally means it will be expensive. Your best bet is to reach out to fellow local beekeepers and see if you can get a queen or at worst a frame of eggs to give your bees to raise a new queen.

Otherwise you could contact either RWeaver or BeeWeaver and ask to be put on their waiting list in case they have an extra in the next few weeks. Since they are both in Texas you'd be looking at no more than 3 days shipping if they did get an extra available.

Sorry I don't have an iron clad solution for you.

Best of luck!

Assuming you have looked in the BS For Sale and put a listing in the Wanted section? Try Craigslist for your area. Contact any TX beeclubs.

Thanks for the help. R Weaver is supposed to get me one pretty quick. I really want about 4 hives. Just having a little trouble getting past 1.
