Does anyone know where I can buy a 4 frame extractor, basket insert? Just the inner part of the extractor that the frames sit in and spin. I would like to build the outer part and drive mechanism but would like to purchase a pre-manufactured inner basket.

Thank you. I did see that one. I was hoping to find one for 4 frames but the 3 frame from Dadant may be my only choice short of purchasing some stainless and making one myself.

I'm leaning towards the DIY food grade plastic bin and hand drill method for now. I'll likely only have 2 or 3 mediums to extract this year.

Right now im just gonna either rent the small 4 frame hand crank for $5 or the 6 frame electric for $15 from the local county extention office! The state purchased both extractors and gave them to the extention office several yrs ago.

My local beekeeping club has a couple too. I'm looking into joining. It will be nice to meet a few beeks close to me.

You could browse the bee supply catalogs and when you find an extractor with the features you like, call them up and see if they supply parts for their equipment and tell them you need a basket.
Seems most bee suppliers do have parts available for their equipment.
