I bought this. It’s junk

 

I got mine at "Handy Man" which is actually an ACE Hardware store in Austintown, Ohio. They have it in a big roll and they just cut off what I need.

 

Ace/Agway in my area as well.

 

Many of the bee equipment suppliers carry it but the price with shipping will kill you.
Call around to local hardware stores but if you don't live near farm country you may not find it.
Do not buy 1/8 in screening,you want galvanized .

Every joint is welded.

Pay attention to the price breaks at certain quantities. Six feet of it will cost you less than five feet of it. There is also a price break at 20 ft. If you are buying 15 feet you may as well buy 20ft, you'll get five feet more for just 50¢ more.

Its less per foot than the 3x10 roll on Amazon and heavier wire gauge, but you will have to pay shipping.

 

You should be able to go to any small hardware store in rural America and find it. Usually in small rolls, in an obscure spot on shelves. I have bought at my local h.d, and lowes as well. Tsc also sells it. Good luck with your bees. Rich

 

Also, 1/8" panther same as #8 . Basically 8 squares per inch is #8 hardware cloth or welded wire.

 

You can also buy a full 100' roll and split it with someone in your club. That way you both win on price, That's what I did.

 

Ace and a local building supply carry it here. Never seen any at the big box stores, so try your local smaller hardware, often they'll have it.
