When to use your incubator?

I was wondering how early you can place cells in the incubator? Can they be placed in there as soon as they are capped?

Yep, that's what I do... But they say they're better if tended by the bees, but I don't see much difference..

Yes. I don't think they are any better if tended by the bees, but it's easier to introduce as cells than as queens and I don't have to worry about them if the bees are tending them.
The advantage I see is less burr comb, but I was also wondering if it might affect acceptance?
I always have extra queen cells when I cull them from swarm prep, etc. Do u all just use an egg incubator? At what temp? Thanks
I use wood block cages that fit in a frame and put them back in a hive. It don`t get better than the temp in a hive.,,,,,,,,,Pete
