Have 4 honey supers on a may nuc
2 are capped, )one was full of honey but not all capped and the last box we added was just drawn comb on the weekend

we are in Eastern ontario and are trying to figure out when to pull the honey... is it too late to wait till last wk aug/ first sept?:s:s:s:s will there be enough golden rod to make enough winter food?

Nectar flow varies with the weather. What is right today will probably change tomorrow. You can pull the capped supers without seriously impacting the hive. The worst that can happen is you will have to feed them before Winter sets in.

Capped or not you need to plan ahead so that they have time to prepare for winter. That is a local decision. You need to factor in feeding, treatments (mites, nosema, etc.). Need time after treatments for a healthy batch of brood to be raised for winter.
