I noticed that my top feeders are only being used by a few bees now. Should I remove them or leave them for the few bees still using it? How long can feed stay out before spoiling? How can I tell if it is going bad? Will it hurt the bees or will they just ignore spoiled feed.

>Would HBH make it keep longer for feeding a nuc

Yes, but from my experience it will set off robbing which will be very bad for the nuc. My favorite way to feed a nuc is give them a frame of honey from a stronger hive.
