I have 4 hives that have been doing great this year. Each has a super on it and they are all full and capped. Should I put another on each one, harvest the honey (then put them back on - or leave them off), or something else?
Well, depending on where you are at (for some reason I can’t see profiles on my phone), you may be coming up on a nectar dearth (or in one now). Here in East TX, it wouldn’t do much good to put supers back on right now.
If you have ample nectar flows right now, and extra drawn comb supers laying around, you could add another super on top and harvest all of them at once. If you aren’t in a nectar flow, then I would go ahead and harvest everything now and store the supers properly until the fall flows.
