I've got 53 beautiful Queen cells using Michael Palmers method. 1 or 2 ago I pulled them out to have a look and I noticed all of the cups were packed full of jelly, like they should look. And today is day 5 so I went to put the cell builder back on top of the original colony and I pulled the cells again and noticed that almost all the jelly appeared to be gone, does that sound right? When would the Queen larva need to be done eating jelly?

Q/cells are capped on Day 8 (+/- 1 day) and the larva pupates on Day 10. From then on, the developing queen's head will face away from the RJ - so my understanding is that the last feed would probably take place around Day 10.

Needs checking - but that's my best guess.

Thank you little John, so to me then what I saw sounds pretty normal. Thank you so much. Cal
