We're still in a fall flow here, the bee yard is smelling like old socks and they are really flying yet, still expanding comb and brood. I want pull in the final harvest, start a OAV and start general winter prep. Our first frost in usually in mid-November and we should have some flow decent through October. I understand that I need to pull my honey supers before doing the OAV and am now about 2 weeks since the end of the Formic treatment. Hives look good but I'm more concerned about getting my winter bees off to a good start. Suggestions-thanks!

Your colonies are making winter bees now and the queens are slowing down, but you may not recognise it unless you do a full inspection.
You can do your final winter prep now to give them time to propolize the boxes and arrange how they want it. J
