I plan to do a split after I collect my honey supers. I have a very busy, and crowded hive. Since I will have 2 new deeps with foundation to add on the 2 established ones ( or even if I just create a nuc.) The nectar flow will be over, so what ratio syrup do I feed?

Thanks!

Typically 1:1 syrup is suggested for "immediate consumption" by bees for activities like hive growth at this time of year. 2:1 typically is recommended for building up winter stores.

But then there are those that feed 5:3 whenever they feed syrup, so there isn't really a right or wrong answer.
