what to do with the frames of old drawn comb?

970 3
Also... Is it okay to use the frames of older comb from a dead hive even if it looks dark in color and some of the comb has needed to be taken off? Some has some small amounts of honey in it... Or should you just start a new packge in foundation and throw away the older stuff? thanks again

You should be ok using your old frames. I find the frames darken after just one season's of use. They will fix any areas that you have removed cells from. Putting packages on drawn frames is the best way to start them.
