3rd year beekeeper, having trouble to keep the nest clear of pollen for the queens to lay eggs. I winter 9 beehives successfully and currently have 15, but aim to go to 5-6. I started using the Senelgrove board and I love it, still, I'm curious what others are doing when the brood chamber is full of pollen. I usually keep 2 frames and place them at extremities moving the others up to give the queens room to lay eggs (If I have drawn frames, if not new frames with plastic foundation). I'm using Langstroth 10 frames only for flexibility and this way the pollen and honey are mixed up so much! What I'm doing wrong? Please help me improve.
On a lighter note I'm so passionate about this little creatures and when I meet people I tell them how I have this virus named "Apis mellifera" inoculated from my childhood and 3 years ago violently manifested and there is on known cure for it!
Thank you, Marian
