New beekeeper here. I have about 80 colonies and 25 of which have three deep bodies on now, and am filling these up with honey.
1. Do I add more boxes?
2. Is it too late to split and have strong colonies thru winter?
3. How much honey store is enough and what to do with the third and possible 4th box during winter?

Sorry ct, most of us wouldn't start with so many hives without researching such things first. Our minds are just boggled. Keep reading here. Read books. Find a local mentor, bee club.

I think that the problem, other than a beginner with 80 hives, is that those questions/answers will be very local. You need to talk with someone right in your area for good answers. With 80 hives bad answers can be expensive.

If you're hives are that strong, & you have all that extra honey, you could probably split the strong ones. Use the extra honey on the outer frames of the splits.
We still have a good privet flow over here in Concord.
