Yep, buttercup. I have seen bees on them. Now if I could just get my wife and these other Tennesseans to stop calling daffodils buttercups maybe the bees wouldn't be so confused. :rolleyes:

I have a whole field of them too, their in full bloom right now. Last year I saw bees working them, this year so far I havent seen any, yesterday I looked hard and didnt see a one on them. Maybe later on they will, last year was a bad year and maybe thats all they had for a spell to work? I guess their working something more perfered right now.

They are working something else they like better. Last year they worked the redbuds, holly bushes and 1 of the 2 holly trees. This year they didn't / aren't touching them.

I would assume this is the yellow pollen they are bringing in but I was wondering if they are getting nectar from it also? Hope this isn't too stupid of a question. Thanks
