I am a second year beekeeper and I live in new Tenn. I have a 10 frame langstroth with two deeps. What is a good outside air temp to do a full hive inspection?

The bees will fly when the temperature gets into the 50s anytime the temperatures are above that is okay an inspection.

It depends on if it is windy or damp. If it is calm and sunny and you feel comfortable in shirt sleeves it is probably OK. Or 57 degrees.

i prefer to inspect when the foragers are flying, less bees in the hive and they are more distracted rather than being focused on me. as mentioned, they can forage in cooler temps if it is sunny and not much wind.
