[Parke County Queen]

This strange bee was so fast, it was hard to get a pic. It was like a helicopter. Just sat in one spot and then zipped so fast you couldn't see it move. It was also sort of fuzzy and had a long probiscus. Any idea what it is??

Just saw one of these on my blueberry bushes. They are amazing - really look like a cross of a bee and a hummingbird.

It is a Hummingbird Moth. Funny to come across this post. My children were just catching these today on the lilac bushes!
