Good morning folks, Just got off graveyard shift and my mind is kind of going to strange places just now and one of the places looks like this.... what if a BEEK was to spray his/her bee suit with Bee Quick before a cutout or honey harvest? would it be like a repelant? or a waste of time? I had a bunch of my girls on a couple of our hummingbird feeders last year. I decided to place a couple of adhesive felt pads on the feeders and spray them with Bee Quick.

It lasted about a minute...maybe. :(

Not being in a closed environment, the smell dissipated quickly. Now, a bee suit has a lot more area than a felt pad, so the smell may linger longer, but there's probably a limit to how much you want to spray on.

I'd say go ahead and try it! If the smell of the Bee Quick doesn't bother you, then surely the smell of the dog urine on your legs from all the neighborhood dogs shouldn't bother you either. :D
