Today it misted rain most of the day after a thunder storm last night. The bees have been working the goldenrod hard until today, they took the day off. When the rain quit they still did not work--what gives. Is it that the flowers are full of water and the nectar would be watered down to the point that the work gathering and working it into honey is not worth the effort? Tomorrow should dry things out again and we shall see what happens. Just curious.
