They're nice as swarm traps and last about 3 years if you bring them in after the season. Overwintering though?, not on a bet.

i bought some this spring for splits and bait traps, their actually holding up well considering all the rain we've had. D Coates i'm building some now based off the plans you posted, i think i'll make some screen bottom and some solid bottom. i've never overwintered a nuc before, my plan is to try 3-5 and see how it goes. any advice is appreciated.
