Is it true they give off a scent that allows them to get thru the bees? Was checking out my spy cam on the hive and saw my bees bearding and then saw 2 moths flying around them, so I am assuming they are wax moths.
Never heard of them giving off that type of scent, for me the wax moths are only a problem in a weak hive. Weak hive means less capability to defend the real estate.
Look up greater and lesser wax moths for their mug shots.
