how long does wax foundation with re-enforcing wire lasts in storage ? i have a opportunity to buy several hundred pounds (100 kilos in Canada) this would last me several years, but will it keep? assuming proper storage conditions are met? thanks
"...assuming proper storage conditions are met?..." i have some over 10 years old thats in "as new" shape. on the other hand, do a search here on "foundationless" many are now doing without. after all, bees in nature dont seem to need it... good luck, mike
As others have posted... it doesn't really go bad. The only real things that can break down stored wax would be:
-wax moths
-fire
-your wife making you clean up the basement
