Just wondering how much honey folk usually get off their two brood body hives in Washington State. I know, I know, it changes all the time and usual isn't really a good word but just what you normally see.
I'm new to beekeeping and have wondered this same question. In the seattle area I have heard it is dependent upon the blackberry flow. With some years getting a couple medium supers per hive and other years just getting enough to get ya through the winter. Any locals with more info on this?? Eris, where in seattle are you located and how are your bees doing so far? Mine are just getting their second brood box filled. They should be ready for a super in a week or so.
