My friend who lives far up north from me bought himself a ware hive and a nuc box. the nuc has langsstroth frames. Should he cut the frames down to get them in the ware hive.. Please help him... I dont know what to tell him since I dont know how a ware hive works. :scratch:

Hello!

Your friend should have gotten a package of bees. He will have to treat this nuc as a cutout, assuming it's just wax foundation, and he will have to cut the comb out of the frame, maybe in half, to "sow" the comb to the bars. See this site for an example...

If it's pastic frames, he is screwed. He might be better off selling this nuc and getting a package or swarm.
