In the late 70's, we opened Bothwell Lodge State Park, north of Sedalia Missouri. Huge stone mansion with a turret facing current MO HY 65. Built in the early 1900's, Under a bench seat on the turret, in the old man's bedroom, was a bee hive. Local sources said Bothwell suffered from arthritis, and used the venom as therapy.
