Has anyone used any of their VSH stock? I know if you buy direct from them all you can buy is Breeder queens. I am thinking about this to mix in to my queen yard full of survivor stock. If you have used any of their queens or stock can you please give me some feedback.

Thanks

Both Broke T and Velbert sell queens from VP. Both are on this site.
I bought queens from Broke-T this year and I have been very pleased with the results so far.
I have been trying to contact Velbert concerning queens but have not been successful. He is in Oklahoma I understand.
I used some of VP's stock this spring. Its a bit early to get a good read on them but so far so good. Nice folks to do business with. Bear in mind that with any queen resellers you will be buying queens have been open mated from VP's breeding stock. Not saying there is anything wrong with that, just that if you want pure VSH genetics to cross with your own survivors you might just have to shell out a few bucks.

I just used the "Contact Me" feature on Velbert's site and he just emailed me back saying my queen shipped today. I just ordered it Sunday. Not bad at all.
Anyone know of any breeders in the northern states with VP stock for sale? Been looking but not having much luck.
You can see some breeders offering production queens from VP breeder stock here:

There are vendors in 4-5 northern states listed.
Thanks for all the input.. We plan to chat tomorrow on the phone I look forward to talking to him and possibly give them a try.
Heard from him yesterday... I suspect he's very busy.
I've got a VSH breeder from them, I have been using her for a year now and have been very happy with her and the F1 daughters. I just received a new Poline breeder from them yesterday so they get my vote of confidence. They are very nice people and easy to do business with.
