A 1-1/2 knock out test cap is the perfect size to plug a ventilation hole that also happens to be the perfect size for a Gatorade/Powerade bottle lid when the bottle is used as a feeder. I put one on the floor and one high on the back wall of my nucs and screen those off with #8 hardware cloth. The nuc cover has one for a gatorade/powerade bottle that is unscreened, that cap is always in place when there is no bottle.
