I spoke to the owner of Blue Ridge Honey Co. in Georgia about a year ago and he runs Purvis queens. As I recall, he told me that his bees "don't seem to come down with every little thing that other people's bees do." Didn't get around to asking him about mite treatments. Now that Purvis is selling out, I wonder what stock he'll be switching to.
