Using fermented frames?

A friend of mine gave me some frames of honey that are just rubber banded into the frames. I think they came from a cut out last year. So, the honey that was not capped is strong smelling and some is moldy. Can you put them back in a hive or should I do something else with them? Thanks

The honey is certainly not toxic to the bees. I would feed it if I knew that the honey was not host to brood disease spores
