I had a hive become infested with SHB. Had three med supers 75% full of honey - some capped, some not. Some slime on the frames. Put those supers in a freezer, and left the bees with frames not infested - gave them some brood/eggs from another hive, and they have several capped queen cells about to hatch. Hive is still strong - I think it is going to be fine. My question is, would you put those slimed frames with the honey in them (have been frozen) back on a hive. I have several hives I have split that just have two hive boxes that I have thought about putting them on. I would not rob those boxes. What do you think?
