out of the 3 problem hives, one of them definitely raised a new queen and she has mated. I saw alot of tiny lil larvae. All nice and tight. Some were not centered in the cell but I will assume shes still gettin the hang of it. The drone hive is a gonner. Nuttin but drone brood. My successful over wintered single is now a double and 50 % of those frames are being worked. Even a blaxk plastic one. (I put one per hive to use them up. I hear they are finicky) the second troubled hive has brood, but I lost track of the frame I put in there last monday and not sure if that open brood was from eggs on the loaner frame.not great news, but not total failure either! Thank you all for helping me through that. To name a few. Clyderoad, michael bush, old timer, vanceg. Thanks again folks. Oh yea, and after my inspection, I finished up at the emergency room. See other post for that embarrassment. Lol
