Im thinking about reducing the gap to enter up into the feeder from the original designed 1" gap by simply screwing a 1/2" filler into the middle of the entrance gap. This will create two 1/4" channels to enter the feeder. The bees are building comb up into the gap and sometimes actually building comb in the reservior area. What a mess to clean that up and get it filled with syrup only to have to do it all over again the following week.
These are three packages recently installed in 8 frame mediums.
