I just got started this past winter. A friend is helping me. He told me to get the wooden Pre-Assembled Frames from Mann Lake. http://www.mannlakeltd.com/catalog/page8.html They seem to be working good.

This time I got these plastic frames from Dadant by mistake. https://www.dadant.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=613
Are they ok to use with the others? Are the Mann lake frames better?

some say they like wood with wax foundation I use both have had no problem with the bees making comb on any of the frames I used Danant last year they drew out nice comb. here you will read how some have had trouble with plastic frames and foundation others love. three days ago they had lots of information on both just go back a few days. it was called plastic.
