I had a swarm move into a bait hive but there is a cluster that refuses to go in.
I suspect they have a queen on the outside as well. This is in Wendell south central Idaho . May 13

You can have multiple virgins in a swarm. Once the bees decide on a home they'll kill all but one.

I'm never shy to sort through a clump. Otherwise they'll work it out on their own.

I once had a two queen hive fly into one box and bearded all up the front, but the next day, the beard had moved into another empty box right close by. I ended up with a marked laying queen in one box, and a virgin in the other.
