Hello I'm pretty new to beekeeping me and my youth pastor do it. well we had three hives and two of them died during the winter but there's still at least 100lbs of honey left so what I'm wondering is what should i do with the honey? We're going to try to get more bees soon from swarms and splitting existing hives but any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You could extract some of it. this would give you empty frames of drawn comb along with frames of honey. Then fill your hive with a mix of the empty and filled comb. With these two things any new bees you get would be off to a great start.

The options are endless, not really but you could sell the honey and get more bees with the money. You could buy more bees and add the honey and watch them take off. You could trade the honey for bees. You could give the honey away and get ten fold back (somewhat religious). Did you like the bee experience?
