You might bring it to his attention that $100 an hour with a minimum $200-$250 charge seems to be the going rate for beekeepers to do cutouts. The homeowner is responsible for all repairs too.

Sounds like the owner is going to open the hives up too. For that, I would do the cutouts for free if I wasn't over 6 hrs away. The most time consuming part is getting it opened up carefully. He screws it up, it's on him and why we don't ususally do house cutouts.

okay heres the scoop went and looked at these this evening i am going to do them. both are alongside of chimneys but both are going to be removed from the inside was able to see the comb and bees should be the easy one but also the most heat in a small attic crawl. the other may be the harder of the 2 but should not be as hot.there was a 3rd hive but it was removed in the spring that person who is a member was going to do the other 2 but his helper had some surgery and is not able to do it.
