I wonder if we will see this added to your collection of trashy,ratty old trap cones stuck to the side of a house some day.
Decent amount of bees in there and they look healthy. Stupid, but healthy! J

Pat, do you plan to leave them in the cone? You don't know what their comb will look like....a mess to work with for sure. It looks to be an easy shake out to transfer to a more workable hive now before they a lot of comb built.

I know.

But sometimes it's more interesting to let them go and live wildly in a structure like that.
