I used Honey Harvester today on a few hives, It worked well on 1 super. all the others the bees seemed to be stunned & dazed. I gave every sq inch of the solar fume board a spritz. not saturated but a spritz. I myself seemed to have suffocated a first breath of it. Is it possible these bees were suffocating?

Lakebilly,

Bee's can be disoriented by some of the repellents that are on the market. We understood this when we developed Honey-B-Gone. We worked with beekeepers and bee removal guys to formulate the product and basically developed the product around their choices. Whether it's our product or any other you should only have to use a few mists of the product on the fume board. Anything more is overkill.

Hope this helps.

I did use less yesterday & same results on different boxes. I have had great success in the past w/fumeboards. Is there a shelf life to your products?
