Aw it is so so sad to have a much loved pet decline; I feel your pain!
It is sad, but not much we can do about it. It is genetic, and I have done what I can reasonably do to help her out. I have placed a few rugs in the house to give her a different texture to indicate where to turn (she runs into the walls less this way) and have to take her out on walks more often.

Honeybees are my new project pets. They are cool too. Strange critters.
Have had marine reef tanks for 40 years now. Good to see other beekeepers enjoy the Marine world also.
Both can be challenging but patience is rewarding. 200 gal front view.jpg 75 gal Xenia.jpg

Here's my buddy. We have dogs, chickens and reef tank too. His name is smokey and he is 16. He can say about 45 different words and phrases. I got him when he was four from a print shop. He was abused by the workers and plucking his feathers. It took him about two years to feel comfortable and trust us completely. Now he is happy and healthy and pushing us around like he owns the place. Amazing how smart he is, he knows what he is saying not just repeating.
