Took a peek today and found a few things I am not sure about…

The deeps are mostly empty, at least the top deep—reserves used up over winter?

Found some white larvae (?) about 1/2” long and they turn to a puddle, almost, when touched.

Cells that have the caps raised and light brown. I’ve seen them before but never considered them.

And a large bee—likely a drone?

The pics are pretty lousy. Reckon a new camera might be in the future.

Thoughts/advice.

Thanks…1/33

If you are referring to the cells at the bottom of the frame, it is capped drone cells. Appears to be a drone in the first picture, and perhaps the white larvae was from bridge comb with drone larvae in it that separated when you pulled the frame?
