Once, while unfortunately totally sober, I fell off of a rock into the Pacific Ocean and onto another rock underwater and did something like that with sea urchins. The spines mostly broke off in my legs and feet. I had sea urchin spines coming out of my legs for a year.

THat guy is definitely Derek. That's why he turned his face away from the camera. But it looks to me like he fell more sideways than backwards.
