What do the college football watchers think about this. Should either of these teams be in a national championship game?

Does this scenario mean that its time for a playoff system?

Alabama or Florida will have a lose because SEC championship game, if Texas loses a game TCU should play in the NCG because of their schedule, look at who they beat, if Boise State wins out I dont think they should get a BCS at-large bid but should play in a top bowl game. Boise State shouldn't get in the NCG because they only beat Oregon, everyone else they beat were not top tear teams.

look who TCU beat on the road

now look at Boise State

The only way it can happen is. Bama loses to Auburn then beats Florida in the SCC championship game. Texas loses to Kansas (won’t happen) or TX A&M (highly unlikely). TCU’s best chance is the Bama/Florida scenario and have UT win out and have a UT – TCU NCG. I still don’t think the BCS would jump TCU over a 1 loss Bama or Florida though.

Also keep in mind #5 Cincy. If they win out. The BCS will probably put them ahead of TCU. Cincy still has to play #9 Pitt.

Bottom line is the BCS loves the SEC and will not jump TCU unless the SEC completely folds in the next 3 weeks.

There should be some type of playoff system though. I would like to see teams like TCU, Boise St, GT, Ohio St. Having to beat a Big 12 and a SEC team to win it all.
