I've been scouting some possible locations for swarm traps, but wanted some input regarding the best places to put them. I have access to several sites with lots of trees--mostly town property so they wouldn't be bothering anyone--both fairly sunny & shady/older woods. I have no idea where any bee trees are around here, although I do know there are some other beeks in the area. Not sure how close I could get to any of those.

Any & all suggestions are welcome.

in the shade ,6-10 ft. high, upwind from other beehives.if you see bees working, there is a hive close enough to catch a swarm from. good luck,mike
