I've wondered about this for a while, and what with my latest trap experience, I decided I should ask: is there a better term/word for "swarm trap" than swarm trap? I think we're really just coaxing or tricking or persuading the bees to enter the boxes, not really trapping them per se. They can pretty much leave any time they wanna, for the most part, right?

Maybe I have too much time on my hands, but ... curious.

I too also used the word trap, then a gal took it as I was actually trapping them to dispose of them. I now use the term “swarm box”.

The term "Swarm Box" has meant this for 136 years at least.

This type of advertisement seems to work because once the word gets out, we catch massive swarms every year...

But Michael, per the dictionary, promiscuity isn't mentioned and other than the mention of perverse, a number of the synonyms sounds like some of the "girls" I've know.
