I checked my hived swarm, today, and saw a capped swarm cell. There are also a few emergency queen cups. Since there are very few bees, enough to cover 3 medium frames, will they actually swarm or will they stay put?? BTW, the capped cell is at the bottom of the frame.

Thanks.

Sounds like a challenge, they want to replace the queen and swarm too. If you kill all the queen cells you are stuck with a damaged or inferior queen until the bees win. Putting a mated queen in and killing all the queen cells should get good results.

Leave them alone and let them supersede. If you stay in their knickers, you run the risk of damaging their only chance of natural survival - the single SS cell.
