I have a hive that seamed a couple of times and every time the swarm was 100 + ft in a tree

I took an old sock, stuffed some old comb in it and a few drops of lemon grass oil, hung it from a small tree. Waiting to see if it works. I have had 4 swarms this year already. Fortunately all 4 landed in small trees and were easy catches. Just dumb luck though.

This isn't a bait hive. It's just a smelly sock hanging from a branch. The goal is to get the swarm to land on it so it is easy to catch. It works on YouTube, so it's gotta be true, right?
